How to Start a Meditation Group
Here are a few tips for starting a meditation group:
- Who: Decide who will participate. E.g. friend (,co-worker, classmate or family member).
- What: Decide what to practice. E.g. sitting meditation, walking meditation, eating meditation or insight sharing.
- When: Decide a fixed time to meet regularly. For example, Monday 7 PM weekly.
- Where: Decide where to meet. For example, home, park, office, school, library, restaurant or online.
Note:
- Ideally a group meets every week at the same time and the same place.
